ABOUT MELISSA

I am a lifelong lover of reading, books and all things library. I was the Children’s Librarian at Manhattan Beach Library for over 13 years until Valentine’s Day, 2014. After an early retirement and a move from Southern California to Oregon, I dreamed of finding a way to continue to revel in and share my love of libraries and books for all ages. This website is that dream come true: a place to celebrate, share, inspire, engage and advocate for books, beauty, art, play, stories & life!
